We recently spent two nights at the Massimo Plaza Hotel. We have previously stayed at the hotel and found that it was as good as ever. The situation of the hotel is excellent, in a pedestrian area and close to many restaurants and bars. It is also within walking distance of many of the sights in Palermo as well as the shopping area. We were impressed by the staff who were, without exception, friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, which contributed to a wonderful stay. We hope to return again in the future.

The location of this small hotel opposite the opera house with stunning view was excellent, so the majority of sights were within walking distance. Good local restaurants and bars also. The hotel is located in a pedestrian free zone, so no cars! The buzz of Palermo was on our doorstep. Francesca and Jenny at reception were extremely helpful with suggestions as to what to see, restaurants and directions. An excellent breakfast and coffee in the room was a pleasant surprise.

The staff were lovely - helped with anything I needed from Laundromat location to good restaurant. I felt very welcome & cared for. My departure taxi was a bit late & reception chhecked up on it without me even asking! Nice breakfast selection - both savory & sweet. Only downside - strawberries moldy once. I would definitely stay again & recommend highly. Central to everything & surrounded by great restaurants- spoiled for choice!

Staff were really helpful on check in and for arranging transport to the ferry. Breakfast arrangements were personalised nicely. Room had a balcony looking out to the Teatro, so we had breakfast on this one morning, which was a nice touch.

The location was perfect for visiting key galleries and churches - and close to great shops and cafes. Plus the late check out was a real bonus for us as we had an afternoon flight to Rome. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage and explore and come back to check in.
